How to Use the Search Filters

Now that you’re familiar with what data is in the Box Office Fox On Sale List, and how to use some of the basic On Sale List features, we’ll take a look at how to use the search filters to find concert tickets going on sale soon.

You can apply multiple filters at the same time, and even save your search to speed up your research (more on that later).

Use the advanced search filters to discover tickets you’re interested in.

Search by Keyword

In the search box, you can search events by:

• Event name
• Venue
• City
• Presale type

Just type in keywords to search. Then click Search.

Filter by Sale Type

The Type filter will filter events by onsale type.

On Sales

On Sales are tickets that go on sale to the general public. This filter will show:

• On Sales happening now
• On Sales upcoming
• On Sales that already happened

Presales

A presale is a select group of tickets that are available to buy before the general public sale. This filter will show:

• Presales happening now
• Presales upcoming
• Presales that already happened

There can be a variety of presales. Presales can be held by different venues, fan clubs, radio stations, promoters, and more. Each presale gets its own allotment of tickets, which you’ll need a presale password for to gain access.

Password Available

This filter will show events we have a presale password available for.

Password Not Available

This filter shows presales we don’t yet have a password for. Some presales will require you to be a fan club member or a season ticket holder to get a unique presale code.

We do not provide unique presale passwords.

However, we post the presale type if you want to research it further and get the unique presale code. Or, you may want to sign up for the artist or team newsletter to keep updated on tour announcements and other news.

Credit Card Presales

Credit Card companies often hold presale ticket allotments for their Cardmembers. You’ll usually need the password, and to purchase tickets with an eligible Credit Card to gain access to the presale.

• Citibank
• Visa
• Mastercard

Filter by Event Type

The Category filter will filter events by the type of event:

• Music
• Sports
• Arts & Theater
• Other

Search by Date of Tickets Going On Sale

By default the On Sale List will show tickets going on sale the Next 7 Days.

You can change the filter to search for tickets going on sale:

• On Sale Today
• On Sale Tomorrow
• On Sale Next 7 Days
• On Sale Next 30 Days
• Custom Date Range (select your date range from the calendar)

Filter by Ticket Insights

The Insights filter will filter events by the type of insights we have:

• Hot
• Starred
• New
• AI Recommended
• AI Neutral
• AI Not Recommended
• Shazam 1+ to 5
• GTrends 1+ to 5

Hot

Refine your search to only show “Hot Events” (to reveal blog insights about that event). Learn more about Hot Events.

Starred

When you Star an event, this marks it as important and adds it to your Favorites List.

Go to your Favorites.

New

Newly added events since you last logged in are in bold. This helps you quickly identify new events.

Ai Recommended

Learn how the Ai (Artificial Intelligence) Ticket Reselling Predictions work.

Filter your search to show “Ai Recommended” events with proven historical strong demand.

Ai Neutral

Filter your search to show “Ai Netural” events. These are events with not enough data to make a prediction either way.

Ai Not Recommended

Filter your search to show “Ai Not Recommended” events. These are events with poor historical demand.

Shazam Trends Score

Learn what the Shazam Trends scores mean. Here you can filter your search to show events with a minimum Shazam score. This can help you identify artists that are currently trending.

• Shazam 1+
• Shazam 2+
• Shazam 3+
• Shazam 4+
• Shazam 5

Google Trends Score

Learn what the Google Trends scores mean. Here you can filter your search to show events with a minimum Google Trends score. This can help you identify artists that are being heavily searched for on Google.

• Google Trends 1+
• Google Trends 2+
• Google Trends 3+
• Google Trends 4+
• Google Trends 5

Filter by Event Location

Filter your search to only show events happening in the USA or Canada. Or filter by state or province.

Filter by Face Value Ticket Price Range

Filter your search by face value ticket price. Use the sliders to adjust your price range.

Filter by Venue Size

Filter your search by venue size. Use the sliders to adjust the capacity range.

Use the Search Functions

See Active Search Filters

Active filters appear in bold. When you have a search filter applied it will change to bold. This helps you identify active search filters.

Reset All Filters

Click the “Reset All” button to reset all search filters back to default.

Save Your Favorite Searches

After you’ve applied your desired search filters, click the Save Search button to save this search criteria to your Saved Searches. Learn more about Saved Searches.
