The 14th season, which was the final season produced by SBS,[3][4] with the final episode airing on 25 June 2016.[5] In October 2022, it was announced the a new series will be commissioned by Foxtel and will air on Fox8 in 2023 with eight 30 minute long episodes,[6][7] with some changes to the format due to the shorter episodes and filming in a studio.[8]
The series won the 2007 AACTA Award for Best Light Entertainment Television Series[9] and was nominated in the same category three times, it was also nominated for a Helpmann Award.[10]
